Here i write my post as a confused Indian.
As a part of the youth we are always labelled as confused,reckless and carefree.But the underlying truth is that we have been brought up as "confused".Here's how i explain.While growing up we are taught the ethics of patriotism,respect and moral values.The day we step into our colleges the rat race begins to go abroad?.Our parents now tell us to sit for exams loke GRE,TOEFL etc.Where to go?
Sit for the exams?sit for the placements? Where?.Respect for the country?When we think of all the frustating politics going in our country and think of bringing a change? The answer is No,a plain and a simple no.Because it is unsafe?unrealistic?.The middleclass people cannot go as there is no financial security! Why is it so stylish to talk about Hollywood movies? and Comics? whereas stupid and uncool to talk about hindi movies.All college treats are chinese,continental and italian but talk about Chaat,Paanipuri you will ridiculed like hell. Today we the GEN-Y prefer to associate ourself to all things what we call"vilayti".Anything Indian is Low standards.We mutter Holy Christ under our breath forgetting Krishna but turn to his blessings a day before our exam results.We are such Hypocrites that we like to treat Independence day and Republic day nothing more than national holidays , come India Vs Pakistan match and you see the entire country turn Indian within a day!
Indeed Incredible India!.Now we come to the later part of our lives-Marriage.We are made to live abroad,we infact live abroad in full videsi ishtyle but on the topic of shaadi get sentimental! Bhai now we and our parents want only desi ladhka and ladkhi.
Well as of now as i write i am still confused whom am i addressing to? Is it my ownself or there are may like me?
